Why Kiniw

The Golden Eagle is respected by First Nations people from coast to coast as a symbol of grace, power, intellect, leadership of the sky, and transformation. The Nations of the prairies know it as Kiniw, honouring its prestige. The name reflects our commitment to serving Nations with these same qualities.

Mission Statement

Kiniw Management delivers clear management and planning support
that strengthens governance and advances Nation directed priorities.

Our Principles

Our principles are guided by the knowledge and teachings of Elders and Knowledge Keepers. Their guidance shapes how we approach governance, planning, and leadership support, ensuring our work respects Nation authority, collective responsibility, and informed decision making. We practice sacred laws that teach balance, accountability, and respect in all areas of life, including family, work, and service.

These laws guide how we support sovereign Nations to lead their own priorities, protect their knowledge and decisions, and build strength for present and future generations.

Governance and Leadership

Management functions operate independently of role and responsibility and remain accountable to the client. Governance is delegated through the principal owner. Kiniw practices a sovereign governance approach, built on the integration of empowerment and accountability. Kiniw Management is led by its Managing Director, Boh Kubrakovich-Kiniw, who brings over 35 years of experience in coaching, management, and planning. He is dedicated to advancing sovereign nation development within First Nations across Turtle Island, and remains active in youth sports development and traditional tobacco growing. No matter the size of the work, the standard stays the same.
